I began machine quilting in 1992 in my home, outgrew my dining room and moved into a very small space in South Charleston. I did longarm quilting there until I again seemed to outgrow my “space”. I moved to my current location in Hurricane, WV in 1996 with just a few hundred bolts of fabrics, minimal notions, books and patterns and my quilting machine.
We have been blessed to increase our fabrics to over 4000 bolts of the most current collections of Moda, Marcus Bros., Northcott, RJR, Westminister, etc.. We carry all the latest gadgets and notions, books and patterns for our customers. We offer classes for all levels from beginner to the advanced student.
We are a hands on shop – so when you visit – don’t be surprised to find us quilting on one of our APQS longarm quilting machines – or teaching a class in the front of the shop. We are happy to help with any of your quilting questions – offer opinions on colors – or just be an audience for your show & tell!! We hope you stop by and allow us to show you our newest projects – whether it be bed-size quilts , tablerunners, wallhangings or apparel – we’re always making samples of the latest patterns.
